I watched this keynote yesterday and was mind-blown by his way of presenting the ideas.
Jack Mallers talks about how nature is decentralized but everything digital is centralized. Bitcoin uses proof-of-work which brings physical real-world power (electricity) into the digital realm and makes a digital asset (Bitcoin) decentralized.
If you want to hold Bitcoin for the long term, you need very high conviction in the asset and ups and downs of the market will not faze you. Michael Saylor famously said that trading Bitcoin is a sign of lesser intelligence. You never know when it crashes upwards.
